| Dr. Jennifer Banas, a full time member of the faculty, is also a
Master Professor with the American College of Education. Dr. Banas has been an
adjunct-faculty member at Northern Illinois University, Kendall College, and Northeastern
Illinois University. She is an active member of the Association for Educational Communications
and Technology. Dr. Banas earned both her Doctorate in Instructional Design & Technology and Master’s of Education in Curriculum & Design at Northern Illinois University. In addition, Dr. Banas also holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Community Health at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Previous experience includes teaching health education at Lake Park High School, working as a county health educator at Kane County Health Department, and as a visiting research project coordinator for the Survey Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Jennifer hopes to assist educators in identifying the most effective, efficient, and ethical way to motivate learners. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys running, reading, traveling, trying new restaurants, visiting different baseball parks, seeing international films, and going to small, storefront theater plays. |
