Kathy Richey is a longstanding member of the faculty at American College of Education. She has brought her many talents to the field of education for the past 35 years. At Texas A&M, she taught graduate level courses in educational assessment and disability identification. Preceding that role, her skills were honed as a special education teacher, educational diagnostician, special education counselor, regular education counselor, special education coordinator, and special education director. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Texas A&M University, specializing in special education supervision and evaluation. Consequently, Kathy focused on the supervision of teachers and in the evaluation of educational programming for the majority of her career. Among her many accomplishments in education, she received a teaching award for developing an outpatient clinic for the development of techniques to be used with at-risk students. |
