The mission of American College of Education is to significantly improve P-12 student performance by enhancing the teaching effectiveness and leadership skills of public school educators.
Goals
- Improve P-12 student performance and improve the quality of leadership in U.S. urban school districts
- Become the “university” of the school districts
- Achieve 20,000 enrollments by 2010
- Continuously improve our processes and operations to reduce costs and increase value
- Improve organization and infrastructure to ensure great support and service for students, faculty, and academic partners
- Improve governance structure to involve all stakeholders; operate with a high degree of ethics and integrity in all operations
